Frequently asked questions

How long does my hair need to be to wax?

For a wax treatment we recommend that the hairs are at least half a centimetre in length to get the best result from the wax treatment. If the hairs are shorter, it is possible that they cannot be pulled out properly, resulting in less results.

How long does it take for hairs to grow back?

With waxing, the hairs usually stay away for at least 2 to 4 weeks. After that, they will grow back, but they grow back softer and thinner. How fast hair grows back differs per person and per period. Your hormones are also an important factor in how fast your hairs grow back.

Does waxing hurt?

How painful a wax treatment is varies from person to person. Some people don't find waxing painful at all and for others it takes a bit of gnashing of teeth. In general, most people find it quite manageable.

What is the difference between sugar and wax?

Both sugar and wax produce the same result. Sugar wax is a natural wax that sticks mainly to the hair. This is in contrast to waxing, where the wax also adheres to the skin.
